In the United Kingdom the “Low Carbon Buildings Project” will give small grants on hot water heating systems and anything up to 50% off full photovoltaic systems. There are also solar powered water fountains for your garden as well as solar powered fans, radios and security lights. These types of things will be great for those who want to do their bit but can’t afford solar panels, prices of these are much more reasonable.
